Here are two project ideas for the Fancy Cats. I thought they would make lovely 'dinner party' napkins and add a lot of fun to the festivities. I one group, I stitched the designs on the napkins and the other group I made "napkin rings". They are both really cute. The napkin rings at first were going to be refrigerator magnets but they looked so cute as the rings that I changed my mind. Either would be great. Napkin ring instructions: I stitched the design and used the applique function on my machine to create the applique. I used Easy felt, which is a stiff felt to sew on with just a tear-away stabilizer. If you don't have an applique function on your machine you can just sew the design and cut around it. The I attached small pony-tail bands to the back to hold the napkin. You could use the plastic rings for curtains also, about a 1-1 1/2 " size. These were so fun to make. These designs would make adorable book marks, refrigerator magnets, patches for pants and of course on shirts.
